Shirts cost approximately $42. Check the sizing carefully on the website before you buy as\u00a0the shirts tend to be on the larger side. We purchased a size 6 shirt for a Kea Scout and it is still\u00a0being worn as a Scout.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; padding-right: 30px; text-align: left;\"><em>Sometimes there are second hand shirts available on Trade Me, and it is always worth talking to\u00a0the section leader to see if there are any second hand shirts available within the group.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Chartwell Scout Group scarf and woggle will be given to your child on their investiture as a\u00a0scout along with a Chartwell Scout badge and a Waikato Zone badge. (A woggle is a band of\u00a0fabric or leather through which the scarf is threaded \u2013 i.e. it holds the scarf together and keeps it\u00a0snug against the collar).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-307\" src=\"http:\/\/chartwellscouts.org.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Scouts-woggle.jpg\" alt=\"Scout woggle\" width=\"585\" height=\"325\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chartwellscouts.org.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Scouts-woggle.jpg 585w, https:\/\/chartwellscouts.org.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Scouts-woggle-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 585px) 100vw, 585px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If your child has black school uniform shorts these can be worn, or you can obtain an inexpensive\u00a0pair of black shorts from The Warehouse or Kmart.\u00a0Shoes should be (mostly) black and have covered-in toes. For safety reasons jandals are not acceptable.\u00a0The uniform is expected to be worn at each weekly session. However, for many external activities\u00a0only the scarf needs to be worn.
