Our purpose built scout hall is located in Bankwood Park, off Bellmont Avenue. There is plenty of parking by the hall, and it is a minute's walk from Chartwell Shopping Mall.

Hall Updates
The drainage at Chartwell Scout Hall has been inadequate for many years. During winter, water pools under the building and it has damaged the floor and produces a very unpleasant smell. Thanks to the generosity of the Master Plumbers Association of Waikato, surface water and stormwater from the roof now drains into the council stormwater system. No more pooling under our floor. Our hall will be drier, warmer, and smell better all winter long!
Chartwell Scouts are incredibly grateful to the Master Plumbers for taking on this community project. Like most community groups funds are scarce, and a lot of fundraising must be carried out to progress a project of this size. Not only have they saved the Group many thousands of dollars, but they have carried out a more extensive and comprehensive job than we might have been able to do otherwise. The money saved has meant that our fundraising can focus on raising money for our core activity, delivering a quality Scouting programme to our 90 youth members for many years to come.
